Since 1957, Kenwal Day Camp, the "camp that cares," has prided itself on fostering a positive attitude and high self-esteem in its campers, who participate, have fun, and try their best. It's not about winning, but the resulting satisfaction is a win-win for everyone involved.
Situated on 20 magnificent acres, with nature trails, a half acre man-made lake, and the finest facilities and equipment, including three heated pools, this family-run and owned camp provides each camper with hours of exploration and excitement.
From preschool through high school, small group activities ensure maximum attention from counselors and group leaders. Special interest clubs include drama, gymnastics, tennis, computer, archery, and swimming. Special event days provide a sense of community, wonder, and happy memories. In addition, older campers go on "off-camp" activities a couple of times a week.
From early to late camp care, personalized service at Kenwal always places children's needs first.
Camp Kenwal's greatest asset is to give the children a safe and happy summer. "The best part of everyday is to see the smiles and hear the laughter from our children," says Howie Feinstein, the founders' son. "We will do whatever it takes to keep those smiles on their faces."
