One size fits all may be a great idea for socks, but when it comes to summer camp, it doesn't quite work. Camp W's supportive nurturing atmosphere encourages your child to grow socially and emotionally.
What Makes Camp W Special
Camp W, “Where Friendships Are Made,” is a day camp in Melville for children ages 4-14. We offer 1-9 week sessions from 8:30am until 3:25pm. Early/Late Care, transportation, daily hot lunch, five camp t-shirts, trips are included in the camp tuition. Campers choose their afternoon activities. Staff is comprised mostly of teachers and college students. Each group is limited to fifteen campers with a counselor and at least one assistant counselor supervising them. Most activities have a specialist so the instruction is fabulous and makes the staff to camper ration smaller. Our camp size enables us to be a true “camp family”….everyone knows each other by name. We are large enough to create constant action and energy, yet intimate enough to provide true attention and personal connection.
New for 2022 are Ninja Warrior, Tik Tok Making and Pickle Ball. We have also added a 9th week of all day trips. Some favorite camp activities are : baseball, basketball, swimming, ga ga . Easel Painting ceramics , Game Room, Go Karts , Camp Lounge and Virtual Reality. Campers get to choose afternoon electives.
