Sunny Days

From 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Guild Hall will host a free, family-friendly celebration of the sun. The activities include workshops led by local artists, musical performances by student ensembles, and tours of the current exhibit (through October 14th), “Sunny Days,” by renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, who will be present to congratulate the 300+ students whose artwork is also on display. In addition, NASA Solar System Ambassador and Montauk Observatory’s Senior Educator, William Francis Taylor, will answer questions and treat folks to a safe look at the sun through a special solar telescope.
