Come and learn about how the Refuge was founded 85 years ago, and what happened here over 100 years ago. Meet in the Nature Center to start your tour, and after learning about the history of the Refuge, you will enjoy a 1 mile guided hike around Old Ice Pond. Topics covered on the walk include the native flora and fauna and the various habitats of the Refuge. It is a beautiful time of year to explore the forest. $5.00 per person, free for members.
