NASA navigator, Walter E. Klein, will discuss his work with the DC-8 Airborne Laboratory, its mission to study the Earth’s surface and atmosphere. He will also talk about SOFIA, NASA’s 2.7 meter telescope that flies into the stratosphere on a modified 747SP aircraft.
