Mounted Cowboy Shooting Show

August 11th, 2019 – 11am – The Island Long Riders is New York’s original cowboy mounted shooting group. Cowboy mounted shooting is an exciting equestrian sport involving the riding of a horse to negotiate a shooting pattern. Riders race their horses as they speed through several different courseswhile shooting balloons. It is based on the reenactment of historic shooting events held at Wild West Shows in the late 19th century. This safe, family friendly event is fun and safe for all ages.
